Warranty for Innovatools Modular Brake & Accessories

Warranty Period

2 years from the date of purchase.

Coverage

This warranty covers defects in product materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. During the warranty period, Innovatools will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of a product that prove defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance as per Innovatools Modular Brake operation and maintenance guide.

What is Covered

Defects in product materials and workmanship.
Repair or replacement of the product or parts thereof.

What is Not Covered

Damage due to improper use, abuse, accident, or negligence.
Wear and tear from normal usage.
Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
Damage caused by external factors (e.g., fire, flood, other acts of nature).
We will not cover loss profits / revenues based on any warranty claims.
If a claim is deemed unsatisfactory, Innovatools will cover the return shipping costs of the faulty product (in the original unassembled state) and issue a refund upon receipt of the returned item.

Limitations and Exclusions

This warranty is void if the product is misused, altered, or tampered with. This warranty does not cover any incidental or consequential damages connected with the use of the product.

Limitation of Liability

The manufacturer’s liability under this warranty shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the product. Under no circumstances will the manufacturer be responsible for any special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this product.

A signature is required for orders over $500. If you are not available to sign for the package(s) the Courier will take the shipment to the closest pick up location so that you can pick up your order in person at your convenience within one week.

Returns & Refunds

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we accept returns within 60 days of delivery.

Eligibility for Return

Items must be in their original condition, and with all original packaging and repackaged as we shipped them to you.

How to Return

We’ll send you a return shipping label (if applicable) and instructions on how to return your item.

Refunds

Once we receive your return, we’ll inspect it and process your refund to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a mistake on our part (e.g., defective or incorrect items). Returned goods that are damaged, partially or fully, might be subject to a restocking fee to cover damages costs.

Worth every penny

Bought this brake second hand off another contractor and couldn’t be any happier with it! Had a few adjustment issues from the previous owner. Called Alex and was responded too instantly with great detail on how to tune it up. Our company used a van mark for over 20 years and we are more than happy with the switch over to Innova . The accessories make work so much more efficient, and we all know time is money!

I love so many aspects of my new Innovatools brake! No piano hinge and pin is a hige plus . Allowing a smooth no play bending experience. Hemming is much more easier. Solid handle across the top isawesome. Sliding handles on the bottom are great. Cut off tool is a luxury I've never had but I'm loving that as well. The movable anvil is a major plus as well. Was easy to assemble. Anvil extensions are nice . The one and only complaint I have is kind of a big deal for me . Well I guess it's two . The distance from bending edge to where it slopes downward is to small. This doesn't allow for some bends close together. Also the bottom of the anvil is almost flat . The design of the anvil doesn't allow the angle of the anvil angling away from the material to be as great as the top angle of the anvil . What this does is it does not allow for heavier profiles in a tighter space .Both complaints kind of are acting together to create the same problem I'm referring to. Meaning the anvil will sandwich the profiles in the material in some situations. I bend a lot of custom built in stuff with heavier profiles . I'm 46 years old and been doing siding and windows since the summers of my childhood. I don't think there will be any resolution to this problem. I'll have to adapt and overcome hopefully.

I appreciate your comments about the distance from the bending edge to the downward slope and the design of the anvil. I understand that this can be a challenge for limited and specific shapes.

Our anvil design occupies the same ''distance/space area'' as the moving anvil on one of the major brand of brake and it does indeed sit about 1/4'' lower than the other major brand of brakes. The flat distance making up the clamping surface on the fixed anvil is 1/4'' shorter than one of the major brand and is indeed 1/4'' longer than the other major brand. The reason we beefed up the fixed and the moving anvil in those areas is because adding this little bit of size to the moving anvil drastically increases the rigidity of the moving anvil allowing much more long term rigidity and straightness of the brake overall.

This is ''only'' the 2nd time i hear of the limitation you are describing and i'll reach out to confirm if it is indeed for the same shape the previous customer mentioned. We worked with that prior customer to find a way to work around this challenge. I will also reach out to you directly so that we can find a work around in those limited instances. As mentioned, this is also a ''limitation'' that the one other major brand of brake that has been around for 50 + years also has but this ''limitation'' means a much stronger and rigid brake overall.

Keep in mind, we also offer full satisfaction on all our products, if you are not satisfied simply reach out within 60days to disassemble/repackage and return the brake for a refund.

This is a great heavy-duty brake that I use to bend 26-gauge metal as well as custom copper trim and gutters. With over 30 years in the industry, I can confidently say this is a great investment.
