Very well designed. Was easier than I thought to put it together very intuitive. I have used van mark and tapco brakes both of which are good brakes but this one has more helpful features that give it a big edge when it comes to efficiency and flexibility. I do think that it's worth the premium price difference. It is front heavy as compared to the other brands so do advise using the pull to lock over push to lock feature because when you pull to open the anvil it lifts the back up off the saw horses. Maybe the 24 in wouldn't have that issue. I'm thinking using the brake stand would probably resolve that as well but you have to consider that comes at a price..
I would recommend this break it's a good unit!

We're also working on a mounting kit that will allow to secure the brake to a bench top /sawhorses/table top/etc to further increase stability!

Not designed to use and take back off

After speaking with you directly over the weekend, we determined that the extension module had been assembled and fully torqued during installation as per a permanent assembly. For customers who intend to frequently install and remove extensions depending on the job, I generally recommend not fully torquing the assembly during initial setup, as this makes future removal significantly easier while maintaining proper functionality.
The extension system was designed to allow contractors to expand the capacity of their brake when needed, while still providing the rigidity required for accurate bending performance.

I have the 14 foot with the 3 foot extension module, the extension is not easily removed. It would be great if you never plan on taking off the extension. I use the 14 foot daily and most of the bends are great. Very hard to put a hem on a 14 foot piece. Smaller pieces bend great. Just my opinion, but I think it should be easier to use and remove the extension.

After discussing your experience, it sounds like some of the challenges may have been related to setup and intended use. Regarding the extension module, we determined that the assembly had been fully torqued during installation. For customers who plan to install and remove extensions regularly, I generally recommend not fully torquing the assembly during initial setup, as this makes future removal much easier while still maintaining proper performance.
We also discussed the hemming concerns. The brake is designed so that hemming longer pieces should be no more difficult than hemming shorter pieces when using the hemming pocket correctly. Since this is not typical feedback we receive from customers, I would still welcome the opportunity to review a short video of the process so I can better understand what is happening and help determine whether an adjustment or technique issue may be affecting the results.

The InnovaTools modular brake is absolutely the best on the market. From the 24” throat depth, to the wide opening, to all the amazing accessories…you just can’t beat it. We bend everything from custom .032 box gutter to regular .019 flashings, fascia and other trim.
I have a 10’ 6” in my trailer but I have another 10’ 6” that I add to that one to make it 21’ when we need bigger pieces of gutter or seamless trims. Just amazing to have that capacity. Also, don’t forget that Alex’s customer service is amazing. He will answer the phone and emails on evenings and Sundays. Just all around you cannot go wrong with InnovaTools.

Quality Design
It's a well-designed and precision manufactured piece of equipment. I so appreciate the decision to use a solid stainless steel anvil edge. It offers a clean and crisp bend and helps create beautiful hems. The super deep hemming pocket is far superior to other brakes on the market. The anvil's 3 stage adjustability has also been a huge advantage on side when I've need to match certain profiles or perform a unique maneuver.

Converting flat stock into function and beautiful trims in a timely manner is the name of the game. I build custom outdoor living provides, so flashing is a necessity for my projects. I can easily fit my entire kit into the back of my F150, deploy on site and convert a roll of coil stock into multiple dozen unique profiles to complete our trim packages. It's a true game changer.
