Nice tool, the top wheels that ride the edge… grooves could be deeper allowing more engagement which could help eliminate slipping off. Otherwise great tool, leaves a very clean cut without sharp burr.

Don’t like it! It hangs up on the end of the cut. It also rolls the edge down on one side of the cut. Would not recommend this tool!
Thank you for your feedback. I reached out to you personally after seeing this review because what you're describing is not normal operation of the tool and I want to understand exactly what is happening.
During our conversation, you mentioned that the tool does not create the same issue when cutting in the opposite direction. That tells me there is something specific happening that we need to identify, which is why I asked if you could send me a short video showing the issue. Once I can see exactly what the tool is doing, I should be able to determine what's happening and help resolve it.
I also want to remind customers reading this that we include a help sheet with my personal cellphone number with every shipment specifically encouraging customers to contact us if they experience an issue or have questions. I make myself very accessible because I would much rather have the opportunity to troubleshoot a problem than have a customer remain dissatisfied with one of our products.
I take product performance and customer feedback seriously. If something isn't working as intended, I want to know about it and have the opportunity to understand why and make it right.
I'm looking forward to receiving the video so we can determine what's happening and get this resolved.
Worth the price. The side coil holder could be improved slightly, making adjusting it easier, but otherwise a fantastic product.

I was skeptical of the increase in performance beforehand, but after installing the extra 3 powerplates on my 10-6 I was able to bend .032 aluminum and 26ga steel without any trouble. I love it.

What an awesome tool. Been scoring with a knife for years, and it started to take a toll on the shoulder and arm. don't know why I didn't buy one sooner. Cuts beautifully from the left or the right. I love that you don't have to have it at just one end of the break. It cuts so easy just like butter through the aluminum. the company it was so easy to work with and accompanying. I purchased the 24" Heavy Duty Innovatools brake at the end of last year and have now had plenty of time to put it through its paces. I'm a professional window installer, and I fabricate custom aluminum trim every day for window and door installations, so my brake gets used constantly.
The 24" throat is one of the biggest advantages for me. Working inside my enclosed trailer, I can start right at the edge of my coil stock and begin making bends without having an awkward amount of material hanging out of the brake. It makes fabricating long trim pieces much easier and more efficient.
What has impressed me the most is how well thought out every component of the system is. Nothing feels like an afterthought. The coil holder is positioned perfectly so the roller cutter extension can be used without interference, and the accessories all work together exactly as they should. It's clear that Alex and his team spent a lot of time refining a tool that had seen very little innovation for decades.
Beyond the brake itself, Innovatools' customer service is second to none. Every email I've sent has been answered quickly, and they've consistently gone above and beyond to help. That level of support is rare these days and says a lot about the company.
As someone who uses this brake professionally to make a living, I can confidently say it has been worth every penny. If you're considering buying one, don't hesitate—you won't regret it. I would gladly buy another Innovatools brake without hesitation.

Instructions and video were fantastic. Was easy to assemble. Brake works beautifully. My only complaint is that the top bar should come with screws to top it from sliding and the cross bar for the bending handles should be included. Kind of cheapens the quality of the product not including it. I can see charging for the other accessories but c'mon.

I'm thinking that the top handle might need to be rotated a bit and reinserted into the red levers is that possible? can you confirm that the bolts are facing the front and the back of the brake when in the locked position as shown in assembly video? we secure it this way so that it is more comfortable on the finger tips for the operator! We've sold well over 1000 units and have yet to receive similar feedback of the handle slipping side to side so i want to confirm whether it is an assembly situation or a machining mistake on our end!
We dont automatically include the horizontal bar bending adaptor as some people don't like them and prefer just the stick handle! Our philosophy is to let people pick and choose which accessory they like as opposed to giving items that are not used!
please keep me posted on the handle situation, i want to make sure all is working as it should!

Game changer, couldn’t imagine using a brake without one. Super helpful now that I can process flat stock. 2 way cut is an added bonus, each guy on site can use it to fit their preferences. No issues with it - super light glides across the brake perfectly, doesn’t interrupt during bends, cuts very easy.
The foam insert and hardcore case was an added benefit that was certainly needed, makes storing it a piece of cake.
